Andy Vogel Art

Plein air artist, Andy Vogel, captures the Santa Barbara coast and its surrounding areas with his landscape paintings as well as his spontaneous abstract works. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara where he majored in studio art, and continues to excel in his artwork. Andy attended Brandman University where he acquired his teaching credential in Art. Currently, he is the Art Teacher at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, CA, and has been teaching sculpture and jewelry for more than a decade.

Artist Andy Vogel has been painting en plein air up and down the California Coast for more than 20 years. “I enjoy capturing the light of treasured areas in the natural environment. The open spaces, land formations, coastal views, valleys and changing colors are my inspiration.”

Andy enjoys each and every day outside at the beach, parks, preserves, or mountains with his lovely wife, Laura, and son, Marlon.
